I think I’ve finally found my favorite restaurant. Last night my girlfriends and I went to this fun and lively Italian restaurant that offers the most glorious risotto, savory pizza, and THE BEST LOOKING MEN IN MANHATTAN.

Now you know why this is my favorite restaurant. I have never seen so many good looking people clustered in one place. The patrons are a younger version of the clientele at Pastis. They have this great long bar in the front that’s really spirited and convivial. You’ll find two guys on a man date, eating manly pork chops and sipping red wine. Couples on a date, leaning into eachother. And then there were the four of us huddling at the end of the bar, sharing a bottle of red, and checking out the scenery, er, patrons, while we waited. And boy did we wait. It took an hour for us to finally snag a table.

Before dinner, we grabbed drinks at The Thompson Hotel. They have a cute little patio in the front where you can smoke and drink. The cocktails are pricey. They have a martini that costs 16 dollars. I do not have the heart to buy a cocktail that is the same price as dinner.

Afterwards, we walked by this restaurant and saw lots of people eating and drinking outside, so we walked in, and lo and behold there was an open bar and servers passing around bruschetta, pizza, chicken skewers, and pasta! This is why I love New York. You can just walk down the block and stumble into (or crash) a party! And on top of that, a party with free prosecco and pizza!

So after leaving the party, we finally made it to the restaurant. We ended the night at a bar across the street, had more champagne, and actually did shots of lemon drops. That’s jinius!

Oh, and did I mention that it’s about 70 degrees and sunny here? Swoon. I’m a girl in love.
