I am reluctant to dive right into grad school before figuring out if I am truly passionate about this field. My problem is that I am interested in too many different things. I envy the people who are passionate in one area. These are usually the same people who are the most successful and fulfilled. Damn them! I mean, even the bloggers who devote themselves to one topic are always the most successful. Damn them all to hell!

So I made a list of things that I am interested in. Maybe you guys can help me dig through this and find a career!

1. Women’s issues, especially in terms of achieving parity in education, career, etc.

2. Foreign policy

3. Food (eating, cooking, producing, basically anything involved with food)

4. Pop culture

5. 30 Rock

6. LOST

7. Mad Men

8. Prison reform. If I had the balls and the brains I would want to work on a project that focuses on readjusting the prison system to become a rehabilitation center instead of a warehouse.

9. Oh, and writing.

So judging from this list I should form a consulting firm that focuses on women’s issues, prison reform, foreign policy, television, and eating.
