I am walking down Avenue B in the East Village on Saturday night with some friends. I am wearing a mini dress and black boots because it is fall and I don’t want to be cold.

Two guys walk past me and one of them says, “…boots like a whore.”

Was he talking to me? I resent that comment! I would like to argue that I was not wearing whorish boots. In fact, I will tell you why they are not whore like at all.

1. They are black suede. I’m pretty sure whores only stick to pleather or other flammable material.
2. The heel is under three inches. Everyone knows that 4 inches and above is strictly whore territory while three inches and below is for nice, Asian food bloggers
3. The boots are from Aerosoles.
